The T-mobilitat incorporates the T-casual to travel between the 36 municipalities of the metropolitan area.

In addition to the 10-trip single fare option, the new system is now also adding the T-familiar, a multi-person ticket for 8 journeys in 30 days, also for the metropolitan fare zone.
The two fare options are in addition to the T-usual and T-jove 1-zone fare options, which are already available, also in their subsidised versions for single-parent and large families. With the addition of the T-casual, the network’s most widely used fare options are now available in the metropolitan fare zone, i.e. in the 36 municipalities of the Barcelona metropolitan area.
People who have registered for the T-mobilitat can now top up their T-casual card via the transport network’s vending machines or the official T-mobilitat apps (T-mobilitat and TMB App). In the case of people who travel by mobile phone, if they have an Android with NFC, recharging is done directly and easily from the app itself.
People who are not users of the new system can join via the Internet, on the websites of T-mobilitat, TMB and Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya: first, they must register, then create a digital account and, finally, access their private area to buy the card, which they will receive at the address they indicate. You can also opt for the in-person option and register and request it at a service point, most of them by appointment.
Around 180,000 validations per day
Currently, around 180,000 journeys are made daily using the T-mobilitat system on weekdays, and the system is growing at a rate of around 4,000 people per week. In total, there are now more than 180,000 people registered with the new system. With the incorporation of the T-casual, the growth rate is expected to increase in the coming months.
Remember that the T-mobilitat initially allows you to travel on the public transport network between the 36 municipalities of the Barcelona metropolitan area. The system will gradually incorporate the last remaining integrated fare options and will begin to expand to the other areas of the integrated fare system over the next few months.
It is recalled that, from the age of 6 years, all persons travelling on public transport are obliged to wear a mask. Public transport, an essential service for citizens and used by all groups, including particularly vulnerable people, is therefore maintained as a space with the greatest guarantee of safety for all users. As for platforms and stations, the use of masks is also recommended, although it is not compulsory.
