bus4.me, distinguished as best sustainable mobility initiative at the Mobilicat 2022 Awards

The innovative technological solution bus4.me has been distinguished with the Award for the Best Sustainable Mobility Initiative at the Mobilicat 2022 Awards, which were presented at the Reus exhibition centre as part of the Catalan Mobility Conference organised by AMTU. The award, which is presented each year by the magazine MobiliCat, recognises the environmental benefits of using bus4.me, the system designed to facilitate the implementation and management of the on-demand transport service, an innovative concept of intelligent mobility ideal for companies, industrial estates, operators and administrations that allows for greater efficiency, flexibility and safety when travelling by bus.
The award was collected by Carme Pros, CEO of bus4.me and GrupTG DX, from Marc Sanglas, Director General of Environmental Quality and Climate Change of the Generalitat de Catalunya. During her speech, Pros thanked the organisation for the award and stressed that services such as bus4.me can play a very important role in moving towards cleaner and more sustainable mobility. The MobiliCat Awards are organised with the aim of recognising the work done in Catalonia by city councils, organisations, institutions, entrepreneurs, entities and companies related to public transport, mobility and its infrastructures.
The jury for the award was made up of Aurora Carbonell, president of the AMTU and editor of the magazine MobiliCat; Isidre Gavín, secretary of Territory and Mobility; Pere Torres, director general of the Barcelona ATM; Maite Pérez, head of the AMB mobility service; Ramon Sagalés, vice-president of the FECAV; Oriol Juncadella, director of FGC Operadora; Pere Macias, coordinator of the Catalan Suburban Plan; Dolors Clavell, vice-president of the PTP; Oriol Altisench, dean of the Association of Civil Engineers; Xavier Font, dean of the Association of Technical Engineers (CETOP); Vicenç Aguilch, president of the mobility commission of the Association of Roads, Canals and Ports; Vicenç Aguilch, president of the MobiliCat magazine: Oriol Altisench, Dean of the College of Civil Engineers; Xavier Font, Dean of the College of Technical Engineers (CETOP); Vicenç Aguilera, President of the Mobility Commission of the College of Industrial Engineers (COEIC); Josep Nadal, Director of the Automotive Industry Cluster of Catalonia (CIAC) and José Manuel Barrios, President of the Society of Automotive Technicians (STA).
bus4.me, also present at the Catalan Day of Mobility
The bus4.me technological solution, however, was not only present in Reus as part of the Mobilicat 2022 Awards. It also participated in the Catalan Mobility Day, where Daniel Garcia, product manager of bus4.me, was able to explain the project at the round table discussion entitled Technological Solutions. Specifically, Daniel Garcia shared the table with Sergi Vila, chief operations officer at SEAT CODE; Sergi Paniagua, pre-sales engineer at Shotl and Carles Labraña, head of Studies and Projects at AMTU. The session was moderated by Josep Maria Adserà, manager of Reus Transport and manager of Reus Mobility and Services.
