The companies of GrupTG DX, the benchmark mobility group in the province of Barcelona, have had a new Equality Plan since November, a strategic tool that should enable them to continue to make progress in equal opportunities between women and men within the company and ensure the elimination of possible discrimination on the grounds of sex. With this new document, we want to promote gender and equal opportunity policies as a transversal axis in the ethical management of the company,” explains Carme Pros, CEO of GrupTG DX. Equality is already a value that we carry in our DNA, but with this plan we want to go a step further,” she explains.

In this sense, the new document contemplates actions to communicate and disseminate equal opportunities within the company, as well as to carry out awareness-raising and training in equality. GrupTG DX is also committed to promoting family, personal and professional reconciliation in order to achieve a balance between women and men. “We will also provide staff with technical tools to avoid clichés, such as sexist and non-inclusive language,” Pros explains.

In addition, with the aim of creating psychologically safe workplaces, the company will provide training to prevent moral harassment, but also sexual harassment, to help “break the silence, raise awareness and prevent violence against women”. The company will also continue to reward talent without discrimination and will continue to equalise the salaries of its employees.

However, the company has been working for many years to promote equality. “In such a male-dominated sector, all the positions of responsibility in the group are held by women,” says Carme Pros. Thus, with the implementation of the equality plan, GrupTG DX wants to lay the foundations for a more egalitarian future without discrimination. “We are working to achieve a progressive change in organisational culture, because we are the change we want to see in the future”, adds the CEO.
