  • During the act of homage, organised by Òmnium Cultural, the mural ‘Miradas desde el confinamiento’ (Views from Confinement), a work of art by the artist Joan Fontcuberta and promoted by the Cruïlla Festival, the Igualada City Council and Òmnium Cultural, was also inaugurated.
  • The event was attended by Carme Pros, CEO of MasatsTG DX and GrupTG DX, and Marc Bisbal, office manager of MasatsTG DX, who wanted to show their support for the essential group of driving staff, who were on the front line throughout the house arrest.

MasatsTG DX, the mobility company of reference in Conca d’Òdena, was present this Saturday 17th July at the national act of homage to the people who have fought against Covid-19, organised by Òmnium Cultural in Igualada, one of the central points of the pandemic in Catalonia and the first territory of the country that had to be confined. The action, which remembered the victims of the pandemic and all those who fought against the virus from the front line, such as bus drivers, was attended by Carme Pros, CEO of MasatsTG DX and GrupTG DX, and Marc Bisbal, office manager of MasatsTG DX.

During the event, the mural ‘Miradas desde el confinamiento‘, a work of art by the artist Joan Fontcuberta and promoted by the Cruïlla Festival, the Igualada Town Council and Òmnium Cultural, with the support of the business and cultural fabric of the Conca d’Òdena, among others, was also inaugurated. It is the largest mural in the world in memory of the victims of Covid-19. Created from a photomosaic of 11 people, the work of Fontcuberta, the protagonists of the work are the visible face of all those who have been on the front line of the pandemic, such as a doctor, a teacher or a shopkeeper. Together they create the word ‘solidarity’, through sign language, as an allegory of the ability to manage difficulties, citizen empowerment and creativity in times of confinement.
