2022: the centenary year of TGO DX
In 2022, TGO DX will be celebrating our centenary. Thanks to the trust of our users, the professionalism of our staff and the support of institutions, we have consolidated our position within the GrupTG DX as the leading mobility company in the regions of Vallès Occidental, Bages, Baix Llobregat, Anoia and Barcelonès. We currently operate a network of 225 km of regular service to ten municipalities and provide national and international occasional services, which exceed 93,000 services per year.
One hundred years with you
Born in 1922 in Olesa de Montserrat, TGO DX is today one of the oldest companies in the mobility sector in the peninsula. Under the name Transportas Generales de Olesa, our first vehicles connected the centre of Olesa with the town’s North Station, operated by Renfe. Over the years, we have grown, diversified and strengthened.
In 1986, Salvador Alapont took the reins and modernised the company, with new facilities on Avinguda Francesc Macià in Olesa. By 2000, TGO DX had already established itself as one of the benchmark companies in mobility in Catalonia. In 2011 it became part of GrupTG DX; in 2018 it bought the company Orilla Gorina and in 2021 it merged with Autos Catellbisbal, to continue growing. In 2022, it celebrates its centenary with a great desire to continue working to add many more.
A year full of activities
To celebrate our centenary, we have prepared a year full of activities. We will organise an illustration competition aimed at students from schools in the areas where we usually operate, we will publish a book that will allow you to follow the life of TGO DX from its birth to the challenges we face to continue growing… and many more surprises that you can discover on this website and on our social media channels!
