GrupTG DX has been present at the Catalan Mobility Day 2023, held on Thursday March 23 at the Lonja de Lleida, in which Carme Pros, CEO of GrupTG DX, has been awarded for her career.

The MobiliCat Awards Honorary Award recognizes the long professional career of Carme Pros in the field of public transport, specifically in the company TGO DX, where she started working at the age of 16. Since taking over management in 2015, she has successfully managed to lead the company, which has 180 employees, 38% of whom are women, the majority in a managerial position.

More than 200 people registered for the event

More than 200 registered participants took part in the Catalan Mobility Day, including GrupTG DX. This meeting is the reference event for the mobility and public transport sector in Catalonia. This year’s theme was “Free public transport”.

Throughout the day there were different sessions with specialists in the sector to reflect on public transport and its free use. The day was opened by the Mayor of Lleida, Miquel Pueyo, the Director General of the Barcelona ATM, Pere Torres, and the President of the Association of Municipalities for Mobility and Urban Transport, Aurora Carbonell.

Awards Ceremony

After the different debate sessions, the MobiliCat Awards ceremony began, awarded by the MobiliCat magazine published by AMTU with the collaboration of the Generalitat, the ATM of Barcelona and FGC.

During the awards, a video tribute was shown with a summary of Carme Pros’ career at TGO DX and, subsequently, she was presented with the Honorary Award. Carme Pros thanked the company’s employees for making the company’s growth possible and for helping her to grow personally and professionally. She also remembered two people who are no longer here: Salvador Alapont, owner of TGO, for having believed in her abilities from the beginning and José Sanjuan, manager of TGO who gave her the opportunity to join the company.

Likewise, Aurora Carbonell, president of the AMTU, has given other companies in the transport sector different awards for innovation, sustainability and the best municipal initiative.
